In my opinion, Krispy Kreme has by far the best doughnuts in the country. Next, is Dunkin' Doughnuts followed in third by those cinnamon doughnuts you can only get up North when picking apples with the family in the fall. We really wish there were more independent shops around us here in New Orleans, but we'll just have to "suffer" with Dunkin' Doughnuts for now.Visit product page →

The doughnut is cut from half-inch Southern plywood. Icing and sprinkles are carved around their edges and then painted Letters are cut from 1/4 inch plywood. The entire sign has a distressed aged finish. Has a keyhole in the back for quick and easy hanging.

When I was a youngster, my family used to go up to my Grandfather's house in Anniston, Alabama for visits to his small farm. He had this old red farm tractor. It was more like an engine with wheels attached to it, a far cry from fancy farm implements growers use today. Fifty years ago, tractors like this puttered along country roads all over the U.S.
These days they are only seen as lawn ornaments and at antique tractor shows. This would be an excellent item for a boy's room, back porch or for your garden.

We spent the day playing cards during Hurricane Irene when our shop in Snow Hill, North Carolina blew over the Slippin' Southern Studios back in 2012. If you're in a social situation with no electricity for surfing the internet or watching movies a deck of cards could be your best friend Y'all.
